Looking back on this year, it is abundantly clear that this is the year we found our rhythm.
Exactly one year ago, my husband Chris worked his final day at his job outside the home. We were ready to unite our efforts to give the business the attention it needed to reach its full potential. Both Chris and I are hard-working individuals who can accomplish a lot. But together, we are unstoppable.
When we acquired Wild for Oregon in the summer of 2021, I (Angela) was the only one working full-time for the business, including our sister brand, Silver Stone Apothecary. Chris would do as much as he could on his days off, but we were maxed out on how many hours we could work and produce. This year, we have both been full-time and it is amazing what we have accomplished.
Many of these accomplishments are things you can see; new products, new retail locations, and new in-person shows we've attended. But the most important thing is this rhythm we found that allows us to continue bringing you your favorite products efficiently. Chris and I have divided the business responsibilities to play to our individual strengths, and we have been organized and disciplined to bring the business to a whole new level.
NEW PRODUCTS
With a full-time production person, we were able to expand our existing lines with a variety of new options!
Our solid shampoo and conditioner bars have been very popular. Sometimes, though, you want to try it out before you commit to the full bar. We had mini bars available before, but they were very small and hard to manage; especially if you had never used a bar shampoo or conditioner before. We launched the perfect size for trial or travel! These bars are equal to about 8 oz of liquid and come in their own box that can be reused for storage on short trips.
Last year, we started expanding the lotions with limited edition options of our different scents. Then, when Chris new he would be available full-time we announced they would be permanent additions! This year, we added Crater Lake lotion and Smith Rock lotion, both of which have been extremely popular.
New Lip Balms
Lip balms can sometimes be overlooked, but ours have gotten such amazing feedback from loyalists we decided to offer even more options. Our base recipe delivers a smooth, silky feel to the lips that provides the perfect amount of moisture to dry, chapped lips. We added
- Lava Butte: Lime and Eucalyptus
- Wallowa Meadow: Lemongrass
- Smith Rock: Sweet Almond
- Painted Hills: Orange and Clove
- Multnomah Falls: Peppermint & Tea Tree

New Oregon Adventures
Despite how busy we were this year, we still took time to embark on our own excursions. A couple of these trips made it to the Adventure Log, while many others I ditched the phone and didn't snag any pictures.
This year has been so full and we end it with our hearts full of gratitude. Thank you for all your support! We are so excited to jump into 2024 and continue to serve you your favorite Oregon-inspired bath and body products!
